Glucocorticoid Cost Analysis Tool (Procter & Gamble) - Created an Excel-based
tool to analyze drug therapy mitigation costs.
Medicare Pricing Tool (Procter & Gamble) - Created an Excel-based tool with a
point and click interface to quickly look up local and national Medicare price
calculations. Other features included key word search and batch processing.
Account Reconciliation Tools (NCCU) - Created Excel-based tools to quickly
reconcile checking account and student refund checks and to flag items for
investigation.
Sales Forecasting Model (Bonsal-American) - Developed a sales tracking and
forecasting tool to import the most recent sales data and allow point and click
report generation along with multiple forecasting options.

Cost Center Budget Tracking Tool (Blue Cross Blue Shield SC) - Developed an
Excel-based tool to allow managers to track, analyze and forecast their budgets
by division, cost center, line of business and activity code. Managers could
quickly roll up their budget components for an overview. Senior management
could get a roll up summary of the entire department in two minutes.
Personnel Budget Tracking Tool (Blue Cross Blue Shield NC) - Developed an
Excel-based budget tool that allowed tracking and forecasting at the employee
level. Future staffing needs could be quickly entered and manipulated.
Calculations for costs, headcount, FTEs, turnover and variances were
automatically calculated. The tool also handled non-personnel costs and roll
ups could be performed in a matter of seconds.
Payroll Entry and Processing (Bonsal-American) - Developed an Excel-based
application with a point and click interface to quickly enter payroll data for multiple
plant sites. Adjustments to pay rates were handled automatically. The
application also generated a transaction file for uploading into the payroll
processing system.
Income Tax Software - Developed, marketed, sold and supported
spreadsheet-based personal income tax software for nine years.
Financial Audit (Sunland Realty) - Audited the property management accounts
and found and fixed the data entry error which proved no fraud had occurred.
Also re-balanced the company checking account, fixing numerous errors. Later
prepared the company's annual financial report.
Financial Audit (NCCU) - Successfully audited the university's month end close
data to find a $70,000 discrepancy with the new month's opening balance after a
dozen accountants and financial systems analysts had failed to determine the
source of the problem.
